Literaturhof

Literature is brought to life. The Literaturhof is an apartment building from the turn of the century with 23 apartments and a commercial unit. The six-storey front building includes an attic and a store. The rear building, a five-storey old building with ten apartments, has been extensively modernized. The entire exterior façade was given an artistic coat of paint with pictures, dates and quotations. Figures with typical utensils from a writing workshop were attached to the exterior façade of the front building. The historical combination of tradition and modernity gives the Literaturhof its unique character.

Intellectual and trendy, familiar and prominent.

It is the mix that makes Schöneberg a hip neighborhood. The apartments in Literaturhof are located directly next to Kurt-Hiller-Park and opposite Heinrich-von-Kleist-Park. Here are the second-hand bookshops and delicatessens, there are the snack bars and unconventional designer boutiques – each corner has its own little world. The streets alternate between quiet residential areas with beautiful houses and villas from the Wilhelminian era and street corners with legendary bars, cafés, pubs and restaurants. In between, there are always lush green spaces, squares and parks.

Grunewaldstraße is located between Potsdamer Straße and Bayerischer Platz, right next to the Kleistpark subway station. You can reach the center of Berlin with Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag in just a few minutes by subway.
